The Philippine Ube Fiesta 2027
Presented by the Philippine Consulate General in Frankfurt and SAGO International Club e.V.
Get ready for the next chapter!
The Philippine Ube Fiesta in Germany is a flagship initiative under the Philippine Consulate General in Frankfurt’s Ube in Germany project, implemented in collaboration with community partners. What began as a small gathering in a church courtyard in Bonn in 2022 has grown into a major celebration of Filipino culture, cuisine, and creativity.
Beyond promoting ube and highlighting its distinctly Filipino heritage, the Fiesta serves as a platform for discovering and celebrating community entrepreneurs, artists, and the wider Filipino community in Germany. Through food, arts, music, and cultural exchange, it promotes Filipino identity, entrepreneurship, and Philippine-German friendship.
The Philippine Ube Fiesta in Germany
The inaugural Ube Fiesta was held in Sankt Augustin in 2022, in collaboration with the Filipino Catholic Communities in the Archdiocese of Cologne. In 2023, the festival moved to Oberasbach, in partnership with the Philippine Culture Club e.V. NĂĽrnberg. Its third edition took place in Wiesbaden in 2024, followed by Stuttgart in 2025, both in collaboration with Philnity e.V. and local community partners.
In 2026, Ube Fiesta returned to the Cologne area at Jugendpark Köln, in collaboration with Philnity e.V. and once again with the Filipino Catholic Communities in the Archdiocese of Cologne. For the first time, the festival spanned two days, drawing more than 30,000 visitors and marking a significant milestone in its growth and reach.
For the 2027 edition, the Philippine Consulate General in Frankfurt has selected SAGO International Club e.V. as an implementing partner for Ube Fiesta, as part of the Consulate’s continuing efforts to engage with a wider range of Filipino organizations and strengthen collaboration across the community in Germany. We invite everyone to get to know SAGO and discover the contributions it brings to this shared celebration of Filipino culture and community.
